Zeta Kappa Board Meeting
Meeting Minutes of 06/22/16
EC Steve Kelley called the Meeting of the ZK Alumni Board to order located in Marie Calendar’s Restaurant, Cedar and Shaw at 6:08 PM
Attending: EC Steve Kelly (ZK 363), LC Ron Manfredi (ZK 306), Recorder Bill Davies (ZK 353), Scholarship Chairman Ken Peaslee ( ZK 367), Treasurer Mike Golden (ZK 300), Absent: Advisor Jonathan Martin (ZK 761) Social Chair Felipe Arballo (705). Active Chapter members attending: Chandler Marquez (ZK 878). Previous minutes were approved.
EC Report – Steve brief summation of successful 65 th Anniversary Celebration.
LC Report – Ron would like to see more social gatherings and a homecoming tailgate
Treasurers Report:- Mike presented current status of finances and reminded all that dues are coming due.
Scholarships Report: Ken explained scholarship applications will be distributed Sept. 30, 2016 and due Oct. 30, 2016.
Active Chapter – Chandler reports house is currently housing 12 people and supplemented by Chapter dues. The Fall Semester will have a full Chapter House of Brothers. They are participating in Dog Days Rush at Freshman Orientation. He will make sure the Alumni Board receives a new roster of newly elected officers. He will also ask officers if they would like to participate in a new officer orientation this summer which the Alumni Officers meet with the incoming Chapter Officers. Target date was set for July 23rd.
Next Board meeting: July 20, 2016 at 6:00 p.m., Marie Calendar’s Cedar and Shaw. All alumni are invited.
